October Budget| Peak into my Monthly Budgeting

I am sharing how we tend to get through the month while covering most of our needs. I keep a monthly budget, which changes with our monthly needs. October is Lil Eve's birthday month, and she will turn 3. I will be taking you through this month's budget using my Budget book page I use monthly.

As you may have noticed, the first thing on my List is Housing; this is where I keep the top cost for the month. Our current month's rent + our Storage Unit cost. This is also the very first expense we pay on the first of every month. After that is my Electric cost which tends to change as the weather and season changes but has never been over $100 a month where I currently live. Our TV and Internet costs are also meager currently due to us taking deals with the company where we get them from.

Right now I have nothing in our entertainment area. We have no plans to go to the movies, vacation, do new things for my hobbies, or go out planned this month. I am still checking my Disney + and Prime prices, which will be updated later.

Next will be my savings; I only plan to place $10 this month. I currently do not have an emergency or Vacation funds.

Next on my list is my Personal Care. This month, I budgeted in Beauty supplies $15, which I will be increasing as I need a new Wet Brush. I placed $50 aside for a very basic Salon Visit to cut my hair, including shorter.

Next, we will cover Transportation, which includes our Car Payment, Insurance, and Gas. The gas amount is an estimate as I am still determining how much we will spend on gas this month.

I have yet to budget for the Health category this month. I have a small thing budgeted for Lil Eve, as her birthday is this month, which includes new clothing, toys, and gifts.

I have 0 plans for our giving category this month as we don't attend church. My clothing category does have $100 planned out for new casual Clothing and Accessories for myself this month.

My last used category is Food...

We budgeted $516 for groceries, $100 for our 1 time eating out as a family, $50 for coffee from our favorite coffee shop, and a small $25 for fast food, which usually only drinks while we are out.

This can change monthly as our lives change, We do shop as cheaply as we possibly can, like most of my skincare and cosmetics come from Dollar Tree.

MamaWolfLife| Week 3 of Headstart/University and Updates

We are on Week 3 of School for Lil Eve and me. The school year is an exceptionally busy one. Lil Eve has done wonderfully with starting Headstart and the ECSE Classroom at the Elementary School. I am doing fantastic with my transfer to Walden University as I work towards my BSW (Bachelor of Social Work). I am also excited to have my computer back in working order to quickly get things done, including working on my Blog.

After coming up to 3 years since I had Lil Eve, I am slowly gaining confidence in myself. I threw myself together, not caring truly how I looked. I am getting dressed daily now, focusing on my Skin Care and slowly adding cosmetics I like. I am learning just because I am a mom now doesn't mean I have to forget about myself. I also want to thank my fellow mom blogger for this; seeing you get ready and your routines helped me so much. I plan a Salon Visit soon, and if you want to help me cover the expense, please check our wish list.
