Deep Cleaning [07-27-2023]

 

I been deep cleaning our Apartment since yesterday. It’s shocking how quickly things can get out of hand if your not on top of certain areas. They are calling for storms today which gives me much time to get things done. 

Lil Eve have been loving the extra area in the bedroom to play while Bluey is on our TV.

2 1/2 Year Wellness Check

 Lil Eve had her 2 1/2 year old wellness check today. It went amazing and Lil Eve’s growth is right on track. We have a few other appointments coming up. Next month with her dentist. Then September with the Developmental pediatrician and another trip to her Specialist in October as well as her 3 year well check. 

With all she been through we keep quite a busy schedule of appointments.

Productive Day [07-20-2023]

 

Today was a pretty productive day despite the fact Lil Eve woke me up at 3:30am EST. I was up for an hour and half before my mom got up. I already had coffee made for the day as I was going to need it. My mom got ready for diaylsis which means checking her sugar levels and eating before she left. I didn’t need to do much at this point. 

At around 9:00 AM EST, I ran up to the 4th floor to get quarters. Our laundry rooms in the building do require you to pay to use them. It cost me around $7 for 2 loads which is my standard every 2 weeks. Lil Eve woke up at around 10Am, which I then changed her into a pull up and her outfit for the day (not pictured). She then helped me get the laundry to the washer. I always only use 1 just in case someone else also wants to do laundry. 

While our clothes were washing, I looked for a paper my mom needed for her doctors appointment Monday which I also had a paper for Lil Eve’s School I needed to be filled out by her primary. 

Once those were found, I cleaned out our fridge so I had room. We use a lot of fresh fruit and veggies so it’s very common for me to need to do this at least 2 times a month at least. 

At the end of our day after dinner, Lil Eve took a shower and then brushed her teeth. She still tend to bite her tooth brush which I will be talking to her dentist about next month. 

At around 10 PM I myself finally settled into bed after completing my nightly chores which includes filling the dishwasher.

Life Updates [July 2 - July 13th 2023]

 

~ July 4, 2023 ~

Not going to lie this last week has been very hard and rough. 4th of July we attended a Cook Out done by one of our neighbors and took Lil Eve to the Parade. It was a pretty simple day but exhausting 

~ July 7th~

I learned one of my best friends hasn’t been heard from since July 5th and major search. Her car was found near the beach house. 

~July 8th~

On July 8th her family and the Local Police released they found her body around 22 mins away in a Forest and an investigation was ongoing 

~ July 10th ~ 

A Local man was charged with her Murder. We are still waiting on more information as to me so much happened so fast. It even took my mind and emotions time to caught up. I am in pure shock as she was only 22, a mother of 2 as well as currently pregnant.

~ Today ~

Today I am just trying to play caught up here at home after the emotional rollercoaster I been going through. I really took it easy on what my normal routine would be and left many things undone

Green Bay Mini Vacation [07/01-07/2 2023]

 

We took a decently Unplanned or not very well planned trip to Green Bay, WI for a mini vacation. We been stuck in MI with our apartment complex full of drama which we tend try and avoid. 

We enjoyed looking through the Packer Pro Shop the second day we were in town and Lil Eve enjoyed herself so much. 

We enjoyed Denny’s Diner for breakfast which their food is always amazing 

We also enjoyed some time at the huge mall with their many stores and amazing Food Court. 

Before we left for home we explored Sam’s Club. I had an membership a year ago and just renewed it so we can save money on our needs
